Hiram Orlando Fairchild

Hiram Orlando Fairchild (August 14, 1845-October 14, 1925) was a Wisconsin politician, legislator, and politician.[1]

Born in Newtown, Indiana, Fairchild graduated from Wabash College and was admitted to the bar.[2] In 1869, he moved to Oconto, Wisconsin, and then to Marinette, Wisconsin where he helped with the creation of Marinette County, Wisconsin. Fairchild served in the Wisconsin State Assembly 1883-1887 and was speaker of the Wisconsin Assembly 1885-1887. In 1895, he moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he continued to practice law.[3]
